First time in today, a Saturday, and immediately were greeted by a cheerful and friendly server who quickly cleared a booth for us. The vibe is very much of a classic old school diner, welcoming and clearly well loved. It’s quite dated, but in a nice way. The staff seemed at home and happy to be there, which is always nice. The service was quick and friendly and the place was clean. The food was really excellent; I’ve never had French toast that was so light and soft - usually it’s heavy and stodgy and you need a nap afterwards, but I could’ve eaten a whole loaf of it! My husband had the chicken fried steak and also said it was the best he’s had recently, neither stringy or chewy, just tasty. I can see this as becoming a regular spot for us.

I really like this restaurant. Hard working staff are very friendly and make an effort to know your food preferences. Customers are varied and are mainly speaking with each other (versus focused on cell phones or computers). Food is primarily traditional American and of good quality.

The cheese burger has been my go to for over forty years. I don’t know what they do to it but it is classic American diner perfection.

My family has been coming to Tom’s for around 15 years. The food quality, friendly staff and best prices have been bringing us back almost monthly. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak breakfast (or dinner if you want veggies and mashed potatoes instead of hash browns and eggs), biscuits and gravy (my son loves it better than any other restaurant we’ve tried them at), the Club House, corned beef or Reuben sandwich (least expensive around) and the delicious French Dip (it’s the only sandwich that comes with fries)!! There are a lot of regulars that support this 49 year old restaurant and bar. The decor is simple with plenty of booths. They offer a great selection of pie slices that sell out on most days. The menu has some Greek offerings, as well as many diner standards, and the lemon soup with orzo is very different and tasty. The bar is separated from the restaurant yet you can order food while watching sports, playing games and pool or hanging out in the large room. I know a number of folks that have always noticed Tom’s on its busy corner but have never tried it. It’s time to go for it!

Comfy, clean, and feel good diner with good diner food, like fluffy pancakes and waffles, tasty country fried steak and gravy, soups, sandwiches and more. Plus, house made biscuits and pastries. Great service from staff members that make you feel welcomed and are very attentive and nice. Relaxing atmosphere, I will definitely be back for more.

I love Tom's! It's so affordable and the food is so so good. I've had the Tom's gyro, veggie gyro and hummus with pita bread. Seriously, is there anything better than fresh hummus and warm pita bread? I've also had two of their soups and were both delicious. It seems to be a popular place, lots of customers. The vibe is laid-back and relaxing, so it's a great place to meet up with friends. The parking lot is pretty big, so parking isn't an issue.
